Our TV has been awash with the reminders Kathy. It breaks my heart every time I see those 'Jumpers' because 10 years on, they have not been Identified.

Ours too Oscar. There are many many complaints about balance. It's like we have to watch what ahppened in another persons country as if it happened here . At the time everyone was quite shocked but years on why are we being bombarded by documentaries and movies and commentary. I understand why they would in America but why here? And all along the commentators are saying "they did it to us". No they didn't, they did it to Americans....they did it to 'us' in Bali. But i don't see that sprawlled across our screens nor your screens nor the US.

In every documentary I see on British TV, they are American and there Is no mention of the 600 British people who were murdered In the Twin Towers nor any other nationality.

There Is no question In my mind that It was an act of war on the USA but other nationalities do seem to get lost somewhere.

Yes, you had Bali and we had the London tube bombings.... far worse, we nearly had our own 9/11 had It not of been for our Intelligence services.

We have plenty of television channels in the UK so it was a choice whether or not to watch the documentaries. I chose to watch them but appreciate that others might choose not to.

No I must have missed that one...is there a link to it somewhere?

OH BTW Kathy I'm not having a go . My own boys have stood at the ground zero site. (not many Australian kids have done that) and it did affect them, but I think today it's being used as a tool to keep pushing the Murdoch agenda to have us still in a state of imagined panic. Everytime it's put on TV there is always an acompanying newsflash about terror suspects being detected. The terror laws are still in place which is being used to quell the voice of the average citizen and to treat regugees and new migrants as less than human.

It's awful what happened at the towers but it's over and done with now and the laws introduced in the aftermath are being abused. There are still people all over the world still imprisoned without charge, being tortured and detained. All in the name of the 9/11 attacks.

And I hear that more than just a few of the emergency services people that were at the towers now have cancers and other medical/psychological problems that are not being seen to properly. Not a nice way to treat American heroes.

I'm sorry that I posted this ****ing thread.

Why don't we just ****ing close it. Can I do that ??????????
