This clown should prove to be great circus entertainment for everyone.

First up:

Rick Perry wrote: "If this guy [Ben Bernanke] prints more money between now and the election, I don't know what y'all would do to him in Iowa, but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas," Perry said. "Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost ... treasonous in my opinion."


The Street wrote:

But does the Fed really print money? The answer is, it depends on your definition of printing...



...So while Mr. Perry was probably thinking more in sound bites, technically the Treasury prints the money and the Fed distributes it. Perhaps Mr. Perry should have a word with Mr. Timothy Geithner
