It's almost that time of the year when Tigard, Oregon puts on its annual Hot Air Balloon Festival. They always launch at dawn so it's an early rise to get there in time to set up your tripod. There are dozens of photographers jpoining the activity as the best light is generally the first hour of the day. I look forward to the event each year. This photo is frames and hangs over the head of my bed.

No, actually I haven't. Have you? There are opportunities to do so here as well as a glider airport ride down the road. I'm not intimidated I have simply never take the opportunity to do so.

Your pictures are very nice, Bob, but may I recommend using one or two threads for them rather than a new thread for each one, two or three.

You are, of course, entitled to your opinion.

I enjoy looking at the photos, I just think it's unnecessary to bury other people's threads by dominating the site's new posts search.
