Some of you remember Rkdian. I don't remember if we said, but she was my cousin. I just got an email that she died last night. She was diagnosed with lung cancer that was already stage 4 when they found it.

RIP Rkdian.

I remember her arriving here, and the reason. My respects to her family, Acc, she was witty and thoughtful. Is her son still serving?

I had a few lovely email discussions with Rkdian when her son was in Iraq. My wee third graders sent a care package and lots of letters to her son and his troop in Iraq.

I'll pm a picture of my class sending a package to her son.

Rkdian was a wonderful and warm woman. What a loss to her family and friends.

I got the pm before I read this. I don't know if Dylan is still in the service. I'm certain the packages meant the world to Dylan and even more to Renee.
