I recently had to uninstall and then reinstall Firefox. I kept getting some weird script error message with every key stroke while in the browser.

Needless to say I lost all my bookmarks. I got most of them back after going through my Stumbleupon history.

Is there a way of backing up or saving your bookmarks ?

Bookmarks / Organize Bookmarks / Import and Export

You even get a choice of format.

It must be horrifying, having no bookmarks. We could give you some if you like.

Here, I took this screendump earlier this morning while coding the displayed site, it's got my bookmark toolbar showing. Tell me which ones you'd like. We could have a collection for you.

I shan't show you mine. There's very little there but a graphical representation of geological time, a few articles on Religion and Atheism and 10 reasons why the world wont end in 2012. The rest is as trivial as you can imagine.

I bookmark whenever I think "blimey that's amazing, I really want to go back there and explore sometime". Like that hymn tune place that rattles off a half dozen verses so anyone can have an old-tyme Sunday service in their own home and belt out the oldies. Goodness knows who thought that was legal but it's there anyway. The world's madder than any optimist would guess. And one click to pull up the arrivals and departures boards of any station in the country? Someone's giving me a hundred million pounds worth of investment every time I click that, it's astounding.

I'd love to be fly on the wall when you're belting out an old time Sunday Service. Do the neighbours join in I wonder or is that the cue for a carvery lunch at the local Hungry Horse ?

I also have a line of quick links in my toolbar which takes me to FG, Allmusic,Wiki, Dictionary.com (I need that a lot) IMDB, Youtube and 2 pleasant sites that stream all kinds of ambient and electronica music
