The day of my final exam board has arrived. Today I get a big fat COMPLETE stamped on my labour of love. I am still actually giggling and doing the happy dance 'ididitididit' :yh_bigsmi

I start my job on Monday, on a wonderful Cardio-Pulmonary ward in a HUGE hospital in Kent. Staff Nurse Raven at your service, if you please!

For those of you who have traveled this journey with me for the last 3 looooooooong years, listening to my whinging and crying and whatnot, ESPECIALLY for the assistance I received by one Bryn Mawr in emergency IT fix...I thank you with all my heart.:-4

Personally I totally think a HUGE party is in order, dont you agree? Who Knows..Maybe we can start planning a duel celebration with Betty Boop who is right behind me in her studies?



All that is left is the great big WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!

It's a great delight that you've finally got there, well done, it's been a huge effort. You deserve a party.

I think so too! Heh! At my age, tackling an ENGLISH university is no mean feat! Only 7 ladies from the original 30 of my cohort passed to the last exam board. Graduation is in May, and the setting is just wonderful! Family is flying over from the States, so excited about that!

Oh I want to be Carla! I am relieved it's over though. Now it's back to really LIVING!!

CONGRATS RAVEN!!! As one who is married to a RN/CNM and has a middle daughter that is also a RN I know how proud and happy you must be. Middle daughter decided on nursing in mid 30's and has gone the route of ER, Surgical, Ward, Geriatric, and has now found her niche in Hospice Nursing------------she is loving it.

Thanks so much, Lon! Funny enough, I never set out to be an RN as I was quite content in my role as a Respiratory Therapist. But having moved to Britain, found out they didnt have anything like that, so RN it is! I am now wondering why I didnt do this earlier! At my time in life when the energy is running a bit short at times, Ward life is going to suit me down to the ground!

Hospice is a special calling I think. It is based on a different medical model. Your daughter is blessed in sharing many poignant moments with people who are ready for the next stage of the journey.

Congrats, go have a strong drink to celebrate, doctors orders.

Maybe, lots on this year including my god daughters wedding in September - we think, awaiting confirmation . Party sounds good as long as someone else organises it :wah:

I have discovered I like hen parties very much! My niece' and my sister in laws were both fabulous! Congratulations for your god daughters upcoming nuptials! We will have to see what we can come up with!
