How do you peel a banana?

Do you peel by pulling on the end with the long stem? That works, but did you know it's not the easiest way to do it? Have you ever taken notice how monkeys peel bananas? Their method is to pinch the opposite end and peel, the banana skin pulls apart in two sections very easily. I find the monkey's method to be more efficient. Try it!

Of course peeling a banana is nothing compared to such accomplishments as, say, creating WMDs, but hey, they're only monkeys.

I like to grip the banana in the palm of my hand and squeeze hard. This makes the banana pop open at both ends allowing me to choose which end to eat first. I never peel the banana.

If you wait until the get really ripe, they open all by themselves and you just mash out the innards onto your raisin bran.

I saw a video of a chimp pealing it that way about 6 months ago. It made perfect since. Pretty clever.
