I love Las Vegas and have a house about 45 minutes away so I get to come here often but not as often as I'd like. Tuesday I went over to see my favorite saxophone player and to visit the Bellagio Art Gallery, something that's on my must do list all the time. I find something new and exciting each time I go and this time was no exception. Figuratively Speaking is an outstanding showing of some exceptional art. One of the most unusual pieces, by Tony Oursler, was an eyeball suspended by unseen forces with a camera playing on the orb.

There were many pieces of more conventional art.

It's a great exhibit and in a beautiful setting, The Bellagio, where I also saw the world's tallest chocolate fountain.

Love that place. Just the lobby ceiling near the front desk is spectacular.

Imho, Mandalay Bay and Ceasar's are also top notch. Even the "second tier" places like the Mirage and Luxor are super. I usually stay at the Palms for the clubs.

Always something to do in Vegas.

I lived in Vegas for 3 years. It's a great place to visit.

A couple of pix of the Bellagio. The first is the ceiling in the front desk area. As I remember those pieces are glass.
