on winning a third term. :yh_party

Have the tories ever been so soundly thrashed three times in a row before?

No it is the first 3rd succesive win for Labour in their history. Not sure anyone except Blair personally got soundly thrashed, a reduction in majority from 160+ to 60-70 (projected) would seem to reflect dissatisfaction with his style, especially when you see the increased majoritie of Brown.

Do not expect this parliament to run it's full course. Blair will run up to the Euro Referendum (06) and thenleave the mess to Brown.

I knew that really, just wanted to rub some tory noses.

. Not sure anyone except Blair personally got soundly thrashed,

Three victories on the trot, don’t see how that can be described as thrashed.

Still a healthy majority,

Why do you think there will be a mess?

I say Blair was personally thrashed because Labour voters deserted in numbers, they did so because of Phoney Tony's lying about the war. Look at Galloways victory.

If we do have to vote on the Euro it will be as divisive to this country as anypolicy in recent years, if you don't think so next time you are in the pub ask 10 people and see what response you get.

Blair got back in on a reduced but still a comfortable majority, New Labour won more seats than all the other parties put together = Tory, Lib/Dem thrashing.

If we have a vote on the EU constitution, it will be exactly that, a vote, the issue will be decided one way or the other end of.

If we do have to vote I can't see there being a yes vote so that will be the end of Blair.

Are there any Irishmen or Women in the Tory party? Even Brit Irish?

This is an historic occasion, and I totally disregard all those who say he ONLY has a majority of 64 seats. So what? He got over a million more votes than the tories, and more seats than all the other parties put together. The other parties just don`t have a clue. There was one woman in the tories but she defected to UKIP!
