An odd thing to wake up to. UK Rocker, the headlines tell me. I'd heard of him as a footnote to a Richard Thompson album but even that was sufficiently obscure a connection that I'd forgotten it. I'm not convinced he was remotely famed for rocking.

Yep sad eh? heard about it this morning and put him in my pics of the day list. Stealers wheel band. He died in Melbourne

I still have the humblebums on tape and city to city would be another I would consider buying anew. He and billy connoly are two I can say I saw before they were famous.
