Where would you like to visit for a 1 or 2 week holiday if you could change homes with a FG member?
I think that I'd like to change homes with Carla and visit lovely San Diego. I spent a week there years ago and loved it!!!!! I'd spend a lot of time at the beach and zoo.
Or, I would love to change homes with Lon and visit New Zealand. What a treat that would be! Hope he'd leave me some lovely wine to sip on and some good food.:wah:

Home exchanges can be a very inexpensive way to see many interesting places. I know people that have done this for years with great satisfaction.

Hi Lon, I'd prefer to exchange my home with my friends in other parts of the world rather than a stranger. I trust my real-life friends and many of my cyber friends staying at my home.
Would not like strangers staying in my home at all. Think it would be fun just changing homes with a friend.
Pinky and I talked about exchanging our homes a long time ago for a holiday. Though it would be fun for me to visit England and Pinky to visit the Joisey shore.

i agree Kathy------------friends are always better than strangers for home exchange------so when would you like to go to New Zealand? It's only about a 20 hr. flight from Newark Airport with a stop in Los Angeles. It's springtime now in NZ with summer in Jan/Feb.

Oh that does sound lovely Lon. I'd love to travel right now, but one must pay the mortgage and taxes unfortunately. Someday when I retire, I will visit AussiePam and then venture on to New Zealand.
I will give you a shout then and hope for the best !!!!

You're welcome any time, Kathy!!! Chris and I are planning to get to east coast USA next Fall. I'm up to my blonde eyeballs in Christmas do's, pressie warping, etc etc right now. And, by the way, tomorrow Oprah takes over the Sydney Oprah House, and later on, the Harbour Bridge. But I digress... hope all good your end!!!

Well, this thread has opened some dialog with hubby and I. I mentioned it, said it would be a good experience for the kids, and he`s open to the idea. I mentioned France and he said he`d be happy to save up for something like that.
It would be interesting to say the least.
