Oh no it starts again. The main ITV news broadcast was a 40 minute special last night and 30 minutes of it was William and Kate. They even managed to squeeze in a substantial Saint Diana section. Save me please, I am very happy for them but in the great scheme of things it doesn't matter a hoot.

It makes no difference to our daily lives at all but that won't stop the British and World press from giving us reams of the stuff. I suppose if they knock out an heir pretty soon it will save us the embarassment of having Prince Harry succeed which would be embarassing because he looks sooooo like his father.

BTW ITV had a poll last night about who the British people would prefer to succeed Prince Charles????? There is no such question, if he reigns after Liz and William is still alive then it has to be William, it would take an act of parliament to change it.

dchistoryman I see you did not get a response to your complaint about William and Kate. I am assuming your countrymen feel the same way. The Americans are also tired of the royals and their nonsense thru the years. Can't really blame them but the press as they are just trying to have lives just like you and me. NBC Dateline has a two hour show on tonight with Prince Charles. WooHoo! Guess I will watch the dog fights in Arkansas or some jerk chasing snakes in the bayou. As you can see the USA has very educational programs.

There is a new icarly and a new what not to wear tonight, I think.

I watched the Charles and Diana wedding years ago. It was wonderful and what fairy tales are made of. But I had zero interest until they started hyping it and I would imagine it will be the same this time.

Hopefully we won't come to find out that the kid used this one to satisfy the family and has a permanent spare waiting on the side lines
