Point your cursor to a free area on your desktop Odie,

and right click your mouse.

A drop down panel will open.

Scroll down and choose New Folder.

When the new folder appears it will be named" "New Folder", funnily enuff :wah:

Hit your Delete key to clear that name.

Type in CON.

Move your cursor away from the folder and left click somewhere on your desktop.

If you're successful, and you won't be. lol, your "New Folder's" will be named CON.

And just why is a CON folder invalid? Would a PRO folder also be invalid? Let me try..............

No one can its a reserved device file name in all windows operating systems along with many others, you can do "CON-"

open volume mixer

playback devices

recording devices

sounds



I've checked my connections as well.
