I've just watched American Idol and am now sure after watching for weeks that the votings fixed!!! Scott should've been out weeks ago does anyone else have any views on this??????? :-5

Don`t know about American Idol but pretty sure voting may be fixed in most of these type of things, eg, in British version, Javeen was voted out - she has the coolest voice ever!" - but Nicole, a 15/16 year old schoolgirl without Javeen`s maturity or singing ability, was voted IN¬!

I wouldn't doubt it could be fixed - without an independent, external audit of some sort, who would really ever know? But, it could also just be a lot of people vote for singers that you personally don't think are talented....I've also seen a lot of singers that I thought were lousy go on to the final three. Scott was certainly not the best, IMO, but I do hope that Bo wins - he is the real deal, to me anyway!

I like Bo as well (I thought constatine was better though) as well as , the blond gal that sings country. I also think Vonzell has gotten better over the past few weeks.



I think you can vote as many times as you want for each person. Maybe these folks we think should be gone have a group of fans that hit speed dial over and over again.

I think constatine had more of the X appeal Bo has great stage presance he looks more relaxed on stage than the others! Scott looks like a deranged person its those eyes he always looks to me like he's gonna comit mass murder at any time!!! :yh_nailbi

Well, I don't watch American Idol, but I have heard about this little 'scandal', and I have come across a very good reason for this.

There are certain websites out there that have a fairly large membership that encourage their subscribers to intentionally vote for this Scott candidate. The membership of these various sites adds up to a great many people, and when they call in their votes it skews the results towards the candidate.

Interestingly, this seems to have had the effect of keeping the less talented contestants on the show

I figured it was computer voting that was keeping Scott in but hadn't thought of whole websites being involved.

I quit watching this fiasco when Ruben won over Clay. What an utter crock.

If scott wins then we know for sure that it's fixed, Simon Fuller(the creator) has made MILLIONS out of this format and the TV companies make even more out of the votes rang in plus advertising we won't see tonights programe till the weekend in the UK (SOB SOB) So am gonna wait with bated breath to see whos out (please not BO!!!!) :-4

Just saw Bo sing 'Stand By Me' - man it gave me chills it was so good!! If he doesn't win it'll be a crime!! :guitarist
