This caused me to first smile and then laugh this morning.

A mocking bird comes to our feeder at different times throughout each day.

This morning he arrived just as the cuckoo clock was striking the hour.

The patio door was open and he could clearly hear the clock through the screen door.

Of course he immediately started to imitate it and got as far as 3 o'clock before flying off.

I hope he can learn to tell the time better in future otherwise we have the potential for major confusion!

Excellent story !@!!

We Have endangered sparrow that come and nest at our office each spring. I marvel at their nest building. They have become very use to us, and will sit on the step railing and sing songs for us all day. We have watched the nest get used by other families and so far to date we have seen the birth of about 16 babies, we lost four sadly this year the nest fell off the wall and all the babies died. Last year we saved 5 babies that had the same fait, only because we were at the office. We rigged a nest on the railing, mom and dad found it suitable we had a up close and personal view of the growth of our babies.

BIRDS ARE WAY SMARTER THAN WE GIVE THEM CREDIT FOR.. I HAVE BECOME A BIRD WATCHER NOW.. JUST LOVE THEM.. :-4
