Reciently on TV they showed "Ryan Seacrest" putting his hand prints by his Star on the Hollywood Walk of fame! That honor was always given to people who have been famous over many years!!

WHAT DID RYAN SEACREST DO TO HAVE THIS HONOR BESTOWED ON HIM??? :-2

I was surprised when I saw that on ET as well. I wouldn't think 3 seasons, almost 4, would qualify someone but maybe it does. I've also read in the past they have to pay for their own star on the walk of fame and it goes to the city. Maybe thats all it takes for you to really get a star. I was surprised to find Julia Roberts doesn't have a star yet. She would be "qualified" in my book.

Ryan Seacrest is the spikey-haired semi-abrasive host of " American Idol". He's only about 22, which I don't hold against him, but to think that this guy who has about as much talent as Geraldo Rivera is on the same sidewalk with Gregory Peck, John Wayne, and Kirk Douglas is ridiculous.

What that does is just devalue the whole memorial.

Here's a link to all the stars on the Walk of Fame. I don't even know half these people and even Lassie has one. I also saw where John Denver had gotten one but didn't make a personal apperance with it so it still hasn't been placed.

Ryan Seacrest? Who the hell is that? Hollywood Walk of Fame stars should be selected for talent, contribution to the film world and it's fans and be over 18! This poser is just a magazine model/game show host!

ONCE AGAIN YOU NAILED IT.. A wheel greaser for sure.. Some how I don't think he is even close to the likes of GARBO, HEPBURN, BACALL, LUCY AND DESI, BRANDO, JIMMY STEWART, CAREY GRANT, CLARK GABLE, JOHN RITTER, ELIZABETH TAYLOR AND THE MANY MORE PAST AND PRESENT ACTORS THAT HAVE EARNED THEIR STAR..

It is sad that boy bands and the like move more units then Deep Purple, UFO and other traditional rock bands.

Then last year, Godzilla got a star.....



Now Seacrest gets one. Next year, it may be Clay Aiken, or Paris Hilton! :wah:
