I had seen the movie Avator in 3D last week, as you can tell by my Avatar!:wah:
I've never seen a movie in 3D before and this particular movie was beyond my imagination as it was the best movie I have ever seen.
Many scenes made me nauseous & dizzy, which is normal in 3D.
However, I was nauseated, felt dizzy and had headaches for 4 days afterwards, but I had no idea why, I assumed it was from something else.
while watching tonight's news regarding 3D movies, apparently some will experience, dizziness, nausea and headaches up to a week due to it having an effect on the inside of your ears.
They say ones who have this after wards that next time, close one eye, watch movies in 2D or not in 3D at all.
huh!
and here I thought it was something else, good to know now it wasn't.
has anyone else experienced these symptoms afterwards?

I guess this post answered my question.:wah:
I saw this on the news yesterday! Those are some crazy side effects! Its almost like its too much for our eye:brain ratio to handle.
It sounds bad but Id still do it, just to be experimental!

She had said, it only effects certain people, ones who do have nausea problems, and motion sickness problems etc.
so go, you won't want to miss this movie!

The first 3D movie that I ever saw was my senior year in High School. The film was called "Bwana Devil" and we all wore these paper and plastic glasses with red lens.
The part I most remember is a thrown spear looking like it was coming right at you.
Given modern technology Avatar is a vast improvement over this old 1952 flick.

The cool thing about this 3D technology is that you can watch the 3D without the glasses and it looks fairly normal. You just don't get the depth of field that you do with the glasses.
A VAST improvement over the the older 3D stuff.
I can't wait to see what some of the next gen 3D stuff to follow is like.

I watched Avatar a few times without the glasses, it will still HD and spectacular!
