Hate them to what? :sneaky:
Sing out of tune? Sing happy birthday? Sing like Bob Dylan?...
Or did you mean that you hate them TOO!

We just had some real cute ones! Little girls! But because I live in England, I can be cynical and ask who is making them do it, and why? Fag money?

The word "to".
I went to the park.
The word "too".
Fred came too.
The word "two".
The two of us, went to the park.
See!
And it's not Spelling police, it's word usage police...:wah:
I know, I am being a bit pedantic.:sneaky:

Mr. Hugh came on here too
To sort a little grammar
He went to the park two by two
Then Odie socked him with a hammer!
When he came to, Two men came by
And asked if he was ill
Hugh said "OK, I'll be alright
'Cept stars are shining Oh so bright,"
(He thought they should be out at night)
The two men laughed too and thought "what a pill !"
sorry Hugh :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

The following ditty should be sung to the tune of 'The Holly and the Ivy' :-
When we're in a pickle, with apostrophes and all,
They just take the part of a weenie letter
So easy not to fall
Now we're all so ve...ry clever
And they're all so very bright
There's no problem with your English Gram..mar
You're bound to get it right !
I was trying to keep it on topic with the carol singers theme !

We don't get carol singers round our way any more, but we do get the 'Round Table' people going round with Santa on his sleigh on a decorated trailer towed by a 4 x 4. There's also a generator powering a hi-fi that plays carols ! They 'do' a certain number of roads each night in the run-up to Christmas, and there are loads of 'elfs' with charity tins knocking on doors and going to people that come out of their houses to see this rather clever and delightful 'float'. The children get so excited, jumping up and down with glee. Definitely a very clever idea, and a pat on the back for whoever thought about it, several years ago.
I've just realised, that it hasn't been up our way this year - probably the icy roads and snow may have something to do with that! Oh, I've just been told that hubby saw it in Tesco's carpark today, so it is still going, I'm pleased to hear! I wish I had gone with him, today, because I always take my little digital camera with me when we go out! I could have put a piccy on here for you to see!
