Absolutely!
Extraordinarily so!
Of course, however, taking full responsibility requires understanding that people can only break what you yourself have given them. Thats a chance we take and when trust is broken we learn so much about life and ourselves that....it could be considered a miracle?

I would trust my best friend with my life and vice versa
In my profession, I have to be trustworthy as I have lives depending on me
I once had a person that I trusted to come into my home to take care of my animals while I was away for three days. This person never bothered to show up :-1
I guess to sum it up, I have three yes answers :wah:

not necessarily, if you fully believe you can trust someone?
- that trust should not be broken.
if that trust is broken, we learn more about that person than ourselves and it hurts when someone breaks it.
Its not a miracle to have had faith in someone and it be destroyed.

Perhaps you'd focus on the other person while I'd focus on what I've learned about myself and life. That doesn't mean I ignore the behavior of the transgressor, just that I would chose not to overly concern myself with them. They've obviously got things to work on.
The miracle thing was a play off the miracle thread!

but you did nothing wrong by confiding.
Its not to mean I won't say it again to someone else, its just mistrust at the time.

Betrayal happens - when it does it hurts but there is no reversing time and negating events. The only thing that can be achieved by the hurt party is healing and that usually only occurs through forgiveness, however, its my personal opinion that focusing on the other person neglects the self and thereby retards forgiveness and healing.

not any more i can't,don't won't.
are you trustworthy?
people confide a lot of things to me & they stay with me.
has anyone broken your trust?
yes very recently, they lied to me,i still am polite but that is about as far as it will go from here on.
Live & learn it is all a part of life & we are all in the same boat.
No one is perfect but I try hard to do the best I can by my standards.:-6
I have made mistakes ,paid for them.I think I am a better person for all that.
I will find it hard to trust for a while now though.
