Daily Express | UK News :: Gordon Brown visits Cumbria flood victims

GORDON Brown was the only man with a smile on his face as he toured the devastated towns and villages of flood-ravaged Cumbria yesterday.

You have to laugh. Apparently he has ordered all the bridges be checked-as if it wouldn't occur to the locals and it wouldn't; get done without his action. Why didn't he just turn back the floods?

I watched Sky News this morning .

Looking at the floods & all the old bridges that have been washed away.

A part of history being lost with some of those stone bridges gone.:(

Hope everyone is safe & dry:-6
