Trick or Treat

Halloween is not really celebrated that much in Australia - probably mostly because it's a harvest festival and we are in high spring, not autumn. Beltaine not Samhain. Still, I put on my Scream teeshirt last night and went out looking for trouble and candy.. and the streets of North Sydney yielded up a neat lot of happy kids and parents trick o treating. Awesome. And the bat colony also rose to the occasion.

I've had a couple of Halloweens in the United States, one in the Black Forest in Germany and one in France. Last night in Sydney was a good one!!!
