Count your blessings.

I was talking to the kids in my class today about having a positive mental attitude and how to turn a negative into a positive.
So, working on that theme, I thought we could have a thread where we count out blessings (instead of seeing them as negatives and whinging about them).
You should begin each post with either 'Thank God' or 'Thank . . . (whichever deity you give thanks to) and you can be funny or serious.
Shall I start?

:wah:
Okay.
Thank God for the person who invented dishwashers. :wah:
Count your blessings.

Wife hates the dishwasher, it has to be emptied - doesn't stop her using it though :wah:
Thank Balder for friends who support you because you need support rather than for what they can get out of it :-6

Oh that's rather harsh, Loki had his positive side too.
How about thank goodness for mothers.

So did Janus - didn't make him good.
As man can live with the dog but not the wolf, so Loki will ever be outside the pale for most of us.
Count your blessings.
