Is FG your only outlet for mirth, wisdom and friendship or do you belong to other forums?

I also hang out at Grunts Forum..........nice to talk and vent with others that have similar experiences.

I hang out at 5 forums, one which is strictly gardening, one is a Canadian Aquarium Forum and 2 others now.

I just contribute to this one.....as this one is the best!:guitarist:guitarist

I visit 5 every day. Signed on others but got banned from one and just don't visit the others.

I've deleted my accounts at Facebook, EA and Thoughts. It's just overwhelming at times to try to post at all forums, especially when I'm back to work in September. I only post in FG now as this has always been my favorite forum. It will always be my home forum:-4



But, I do peek in to BellaOnLine and HotPepperForum from time to time. Bella has great advice for women and the pepper forum has great recipes for hot, tasty food. One balances out the other. I get heartburn from the peppers and soothing advice from Bella:p

This is it for me now.. I used to visit EA and a couple other spin offs from here but like someone else said, nothing but word games really.

Before FG went down the pan, I posted here regularly as did many others. Now I post at EA, Salon, Slate, Care2 and a couple others.

I have a facebook account and post on several forums some for women only and one for dog owners.

I tried being more open here but have been stung a couple of time so now confine myself to lurking and the odd reply. Which is sad considering how nice it used to be I joined FG because it wasn't like other forums and now... one of many Im afraid.

this place has its ups and downs but so do i

i find if i'm having a bad time in real life then fg seems full of word games and mods wearing jackboots going all blitzkrieg dishing out infractions like goosestepping Nazi's..... which is a good look for flopster :-4:yh_rotfl

but if things are going great in real life then fg seems full of fun people(plus wisey and barman) having a laugh and the mods are wearing ballet shoes tip toeing through my threads saying how funny and clever i am :D

oops yes i'm a member of several MMA forums ,a few bereavement forums ,two drnk recovery forums and a straight razor forum for bald people but i dont go there much its quite boring with few hair raising topics :rolleyes::D

I have tried a few others but soon get bored and come back here for some reason. There are some really nice people on here and a couple of jerks but the jerks tend to leave after a few weeks. I am determined to stay until Jimbo makes me laugh just once so i reckon i will be here a long time.

I did spend a lot of time on a Lotus forum but now the Lotus has gone it all seems a bit pointless, cant turn up at Lotus meets in another make of car, i attended quite a lot of them and only one in my present car, but that was a special favour for one of the nice FGers.

Just this one, well I signed up in a few others but they were not that great. There was one I joined that when you posted something it could be days before anyone replied. I like it here.

I guess you could call it forum-monogamy
