Most everyone else has their own thread and I wanted one that was mine all mine

A place where I can banter on about this lil one I've got on the way :-4
During this pregnancy I'm running across a few things that I'm hoping some here can enlighten me and give a little advice as to what they did and such.
I was going to name it 'my pregnancy' but once the little guy is here it won't be very applicable. Plus, I tend to derail threads with my nonsense sometimes

so here's a place it can be redirected.
So, since I've been pregnant, aliens have taken over my face. It's not a bad breakout of acne or anything but more like eczema from what I've read. A lot of sites recommend moisturizing frequently but my face is unusually oily at times too so I really don't think that's the answer. I do exfoliate quite often but nothing is appearing to work. I know there are a lot of unsafe products for prego women so I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and what they used for it.

Have you tried a cortizone cream?
"Cortizone 10"
is the name I'm looking at right now and it states:
purpose - rashes/ skin irritations from - Eczema - insect bites - poison ivy - etc..
should help clear up the temporary rash..
Congrats on the little bundle of joy

I know, I'm excited. I do hope there's a good space between his birthday and Christmas though. My poor aunt's birthday is on the Eve and she has been shafted on gifts her whole life  Even though she's in her forties now we still get her separate gifts. She's my dad's baby sister (of 7) and I reckon he's still making up for all the other 'inconsiderates' in the fam lol.

I wasn't quite sure where to place this.... I don't post a whole lot of new threads and when I do I get all nervous.... ' am I putting this where I should '.... I usually find later there was a more suitable place but what can ya do.
It'd be fine with me though if it were moved. I'm never offended by such things, I know it helps with organization and if anyone can understand that it would be me. My own OCD takes over at times too

I'd been warned that you may appear in the form of a bucktoothed farmer with high-watered overalls and no t-shirt. I had hoped, however, that you would at least have on some suitable shoes. Those flip flops *in the girliest voice I can muster* "just don't maaaatch" :wah:

No crap dude. I was talking to becca earlier and told her about the shirt i'm wearin today and told her when I looked in the mirror I was like 'dang I look pregnant' and she was like 'dude, you are'
Trust me, I wake up almost every morning and grab my stomach like, was I dreaming? It's definitely something I didn't think I'd ever experience but it was obviously in "the plan"

Thx ducky

So far Target is where I've done my shopping. Most of the clothes I had previously are working too. I'm sticking closely to yoga pants and tees. I love Target's $10 graphic tees and they're stretchy so my wardrobe hasn't really changed much yet.
But, for the bigger months ahead, I have a couple of friends and a cousin that are going to hook me up with some of their maternity clothes.
I love thrift stores but have yet to find one in the area I'm currently in. The ones in Memphis though were badass! Love em!

Honestly the only stores around me (within a 20 mile radius or so) are souvenir shops and overpriced boutiques and a mall that caters to those with big pocket books.. the stores are all high end chains.
Unfortunately, our location is specificly a vacation type area. Tons of over-priced seafood restaurants and such. You have to go fifteen minutes one way to find a burger king and subway and about 30 minutes the other to find an Arby's and Hardees. It's annoying when you want something quick and greasy and are too lazy to cook :wah:

I need some name suggestion to log into my memory bank.
I had a name picked out, well "we" did but I'm just not all that content with it right now. I may stick with it in the end but I'm having difficulty thinking of a middle name that flows well with Lane. Initially, it was going to be Aden Lane but I'd like Lane to be his first name and can't think of a bloomin name that sounds right with it
Any suggestions??? :-6

My mom always told me that when you really look at your baby...he/she will tell you what they want to be named....they look the name. I see kids all the time & hear their names & think...you don't look like that name. As for your name, yeah you look like the name:wah:

Very true! I've thought about that as well.
You mentioning kids that don't look their name.... One of my all-time favorite movies is "The Queens of Comedy"... you reminded of something Adele Givens said about not believing the names parents give their kids and how they'll never live up to them.
I tried finding a clip on youtube to no avail but she talks about parents who name their kids things like: mercedes.......... and they look like a buick :yh_rotfl
