Before everyone starts to wonder where she is Lady Cop is in hospital at the moment.
Those of you who know her history know she had a major heart attack a few months ago, she came through it OK but was given a heap of medication to take, these made her feel sick, so LC being LC decided to just stop taking them!!!.
Anyway she has not been well the last couple of days, I spoke to her several times today and she feels ok, they are keeping her in for tests and I will update you all when I have any news.
LC is as tough as they come and will get through this in her own way but it's a worrying time.

Nicely tell her she's due for a scolding by the forum "medic".

Those blood thinners are important and can cause havoc if not taken.

You know, cops hate it when you try to tell them how to do their job. What made her think she could be her own doctor? Tell her to get well and I hope they handcuff her to the bed until she behaves!

Lady cop! Remember to take your medications. The blood thinners are to allow the blood to circulate and not clog up the works. You have to take them. There are no if, ands or buts about it. They must be taken until the doctors say you don't need them.
This is your choice... Do as you're told or Bothwell, Carla, kensloft and koan are going to wind up at your bedside and hold your hands and feet so that the doctor can get you to do as you are told.

Thankyou for all your thoughts. it's to early to wake her up at the moment but I am going to call her later. I know she will be very grateful for all your support.
She has had a sea change in attitude, she now understands that the meds are very important.
I won't beat around the bush here people this is pretty serious, but the hospital she is in has a very good reputation and I know they will do their best. If sheer bloody mindidness has any medical value then LC will be fine.
I will update evryone later today

LadyCop is in the hospital!!! OH MY GOODNESS! I'm praying for you LC, you've been such a good friend to me and you are such a nice person, I fell terrible that you have to be in one of those places.
If you have trouble sleeping with those blasted nurse yelling at the tops of their lungs at 3 am, ask for some Ambien, it got me through the night.
Geez...get well soon, LC. This place just isn't the same without you!

Hi everyone, i am thankful for your kind thoughts, more than you could know. friday i went to the doctor because Bothwell and Carla were hounding me relentlessly, and the doctor told me to get my butt to the ER right away. my house was unlocked, has guns in it, i had no phone numbers with me, i was very unhappy. when i got to ER the following ensued: EKG, CAT scan, IV, blood draws, (i look like a junkie from needle sticks) 4 MRIs, 2 sonograms, x-rays, stress tests, blah blah blah. it sucked. but they were very thorough, for which i am grateful. i AM the worst patient in the world, i was hooked up to heart monitors and i kept sneaking out, i even went and moved my car one night!. Bothwell, being the brilliant unrelenting detective of a man he is,(i love you) knew something was wrong when i wasn't home when he called friday afternoon, so he tracked me down and called the hospital at 0400. and kept calling. that's what got me through the MRIs when in fact i wanted to cry, big tough cop crying!!! turns out i have had two small strokes. i am upset over this, but at least by the grace of God they did not affect me in a permanent way. never having been sick before, this was a scary thing. and i don't accept it well. the nurses were great, despite me being the patient from hell. i won't stay in bed. they all know i'm a cop and are afraid to tell me what to do! but God, they were wonderful. Carla called me, Lovemama called me, and Bothwell called me constantly. he told me something very on point when i was crying like a baby...treat those imposters just the same, triumph and tragedy. the only way i got through the whole ordeal was thinking of him. i knew i HAD to get better. i will tell the truth...for 2 days i thought i was about to have the "BIG ONE" and die, and i was pissed! i can't die now, i'm going to England! i will faithfully take my %$#@*&^% meds now if it kills me. oh, it was typical, i am wandering down the hall, happens everywhere, and some guy says "HEY, i know you, you arrested me!". *sigh*. can't go anywhere. i sure looked intimidating in my lovely hospital gown! LOL...THANKYOU ALL FOR WARM WISHES! xoxoxoxox i am constantly amazed at the reality and sincerity of my cyberspace family. thankyou so much. it means a lot.

I must say how concerned I am to hear about my favorite Gardener, I really wish her a speedy and permanent recovery. She is nice, sincere and knowledgeable and her intelligent posts have given the forum a sense of dynamism. LC, now get some rest and remember how much we all love and how much the garden misses you. Can't wait to have you back. You're the best!
