Dr Who soin off's

Do you think there should be a spin off from Doctor who about Romana or Sealia having their own adventures? They could be like Tomb raider or Sigourney weaver, also who would play them?
im guessing you quite like doctor who!!
not sure a spin off would work, doctor who is a classic and im not convinced anything would come anywhere near as good as it so the critics would pan it and it would get scrapped......
