"Land of the Yoga people", well I invented this myself.

Yes, it refers to Asian Indians.

It mind-boggles me that if could refer to other Indians as well.

I think we are the most famous ones.

If you are referring to North American natives, they dont call themselves indians. They call themselves the 'People'. Europeans first labled them as indian when they thought they had landed in India.

As for more famous, it all depends on which side of the world you live on. Curry or Corn?
