For using backted
You should be infracted
That's a terrible rhyme
You need time to perfect
Your best witticism yet
And make it totally sublime.

What is this quite unseemly clammar
Good golly Rappy's rapped my grammar
She's aghast but I'm aghastar
Language moves fast, but I move fastar
My lastest word is always lastar
Words are my servant. I'm the mastar

Not even that, Gilly. And here I shall get up onto my very first soapbox of the year. Language is a bit like table manners. You have to know the rules in order to be able to toss them to the winds. (And even then you will only get away with it if your audience also knows the rules).
Using the right word, spelling and grammar - like logic - are the sine qua nons of coherently expressed thought. Luckily of course coherently expressed thought is massively overrated and totally unnecessary (even anathema) in internet chat rooms where misunderstanding each other is what makes us tick.
Still, for the intrepid few - full of noble aspirations - who wish to wander about in the world of ideas and concepts, it's a tough undertaking if your education hasn't provided this basic infrastructure. The results can be confusing, sad, hilarious, admirable - or all of these together.
(Pam dances a merry, maniacal jig on the soapbox and then falls off, landing in an undignified heap under the Christmas tree, tangled in tinsel and pine needles but smiling benignly).

That sums it up exactly, Fuzzicles. Nothing like living up to my name, too. I'm all honey, Hon!
Off to Manly today - with the whole clan in tow. It's gonna be wettish, so we'll probably seek shelter in an inn somewhere and try and cope... :sneaky:
When do you start your on duty stint???? I forget which thread that was in. Have a good rest of your time off, anyway!!
