Move to Ireland (only your solar panels may not work so well over here..) Saving rain water would not be an issue, getting rid of may be, but not saving it.

I like to keep my car windows open overnight at least three times a week during the summer. Not only a more reliable tool then the more traditional rain dance for opening up the skies, but the front seat makes a pretty nice receptacle, I've discovered...
