But, yes, I've had that. It can be annoying! My ol' man sings all the time, so I am constantly getting songs stuck in my head. Usually it's the theme song from "Sponge Bob Square Pants." Sheesh. They say the best thing to do is to sing the whole song beginning to end, and it will go away. Unfortunately, I don't know all the words to Sponge Bob, so I walk around with part of this stupid tune bouncing around my head half the day. :-5

Songs can come into your head at the wrong times but that doesn't make them wrong. If it's fovourite song then yo are offering one of your favourite things to the funeral dirge. If it isn't maybe it has something to do with the departed? If it is just some song then it shows that life goes on after death on this plane of existence. It is not done out of disrespect, so, it won't betaken as being disrespectful. Lots of people have their favourite tunes played at their funerals because they don't want their passing to only be mourned but also to be celebrated for their having been here.

I wouldn't be too upset about it. It is, after all, all in your head.

Someone suggested to me that to get rid of a song was possible to do by singing 'Mary had a Little Lamb' a few times.

all around the mulberrry bush the rabbit chased the weasel. If the rabbit catches him....

POP GOES THE WEASEL!

Sometimes just to be evil, I whistle this a few times in class. By the end of the day, the students are completely hooked.

Oh and to really bother people...whistle just the first part and then go quiet.......they'll absolutely HAVE to finish it for you! :wah:

I had a boss who was a big Cher fan. We'd all sit and drink together and listen to Cher. I'd go in to work the next day, singing Cher songs. The only way I could possibly get them out of my head was to play them loudly before any customers came in.
