#@$%*&#@!!!!!! IRS!!! I'm with my tax lawyer right now. I found out that they think I didn't even file for three years in the 90's! I have the copies to prove it, blasted idiots!
Once, when I was younger, I didn't get a renter's credit form (Hey I was yong and didn't even know about it.) Thanks to that oversight, I ended up owing $30. The IRS got around to telling me that I owed them the $30.....
8 FREAKING YEARS LATER!!!!
Despite the fact that I should even have had to pay that year, with interest I ended up owing them $800!!!!
The unconscionable B******Ds! Couldn't they have got around to telling me a little sooner? Or perhaps given me a break and allowed me to only pay the $30 I owed? No! Oh no! That would imply sympathy for a master criminal like myself! It could shake the very foundations of the country! Jives, the America's Most Wanted Tax Evader would undermine the whole of civilization! He's got to PAY, I tell you!!! just call him "Jives Capone"! and crucify him!
Nowadays, I prepay my tax lawyers out of each paycheck ahead of time. Take that you faceless, devoid of humanity, scum!
AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! I can't STAND those jerks!
(Jives pulls at his hair, jumps from his seat, and runs from the room screaming)

pant...pant....pant....OK, I'm better now.
"Kinder and gentler, eh?" Kinda like the "kinder and gentler" pet tiger that ripped off Roy's face!
That's like saying a "kinder and gentler" serial killer.
"kinder and gentler" IRS = oxymoron.

JIVES, I feel your pain.. Damn IRS ..

They can make your life miserable. I have a friend that went around and around with them for 10 years. Finally the IRS relented since it was THEIR MISTAKE TO BEGIN WITH.. But damn if they still didn't have to pay part of what they didn't owe in the first place. It was the lesser of two evils.. FINALLY AFTER 10 FLIPPIN YEARS THE IRS IS OFF THEIR BACKS.. :-6
This is the first year since I went back to work that I actually go a refund..

Not a big one mind you, but none the less a REFUND..
Breath deep ... and pay them ...or they will double, it, triple it, and add 600% interest and double that and triple that till your scream for mercy.. BASTARDS..

Here's the deal, if they catch the mistake up front when you do it, you owe them FOREVER. And they will continue to add interest for that amount of time too.
They just can't go back in time more than five years to CATCH a mistake.
