I watched this documentary "Garbage Warrior" on Sundance last night. Really cool use of nature to make a house completely independent of any public services. Provides its own power, water, and sewage disposal.

I saw something like that on the Discovery channel are a few months ago. Pretty nice...and it's a nice house to boot.
