Teenager speak....... anyone know what 'munch' refers to?

I have the dubious pleasure of my hoodie teenage nephew arriving for a week tomorrow.

I have never actually understood a word he says but i have learned that 'Minted' means a sign of excellence for example.

Also the expression 'bad' means good apparently.

He has asked me on the phone to get him some 'munch' in for his stay. I am guessing this means food...... What sort of food???????????/

Help :confused::confused:

A munch is a casual lunch or dinner with other local people who have an interest or experience in BDSM (Bondage & Discipline, Dominance and submission, sadomasochism) and/or Fetish. Munch groups have many different characters depending on locations of where they meet. Some are held in locations where a demonstration can be given on different techniques, but most are held in family restaurants or bars where 'play' or fetishwear is not permitted.

A munch is a great atmosphere to meet like minded locals, discuss a variety of topics, and make friends and get validation without people behaving 'in role'. Following are some frequently asked questions regarding munches.:-2:-2:D:yh_rotfl

What's a Munch?

Thats what google came up with:yh_rotfl

Munch is snack food I think:thinking: People who smoke cannibis get the munchies..

Munchies

When you get hungry after smoking weed. Usually people will eat a lot of junk food.

Two kids are getting stoned:

"...and ice cream, and a whole pizza just for me, and some chips, and a soda, and some chocolate...maybe some chinese food, gummy worms, lasagna, rice, ramen, chicken and a hamburger...oh yeah, i almost forgot i wanted some fries with that..."

"Damn...that's some serious munchies you have!"

It's teenage food, you will find it in the section in the store that has the most chocolate ,for the sugar rush ,salty for the flavor, teeth rotting fizzy drinks and pimple causing greasey food section .

My daughter was a chocoholic in every sense of the word. One of my sons was a the greaser the better ,eater and then my other son was the kind of kid that if he could eat it on the move, it was his favorite food. A determined kid can make all kinds of food "grab and go" food, :-2

Oh I miss the days of picking on my kids about their munching habits,,heck sometimes I just miss my kids.

I always found it totally amazing how a couple of kids can take some plain ole everyday words and make them mean all sorts of weird and non understandable things. :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

macking , and throwing a bi**h is two of the ones that stand out in my memory.

macking ,means makink out with a boy/girl friens

throwing a bi**h means getting in your car/ pickup and throwing donuts or spining around making lots of noise and dust.

Yes, three times a week at TKD, three times a week at the gym.

No TV on in this household, but shelves of books to read. He can use the computer for an hour a day, I'm not that mean. (if his grades are A's & B's) :)

That's about how I raised my kids.....................

After seeing all the above responses...munch is actually a sex word. Usually referred to as a woman's bush:sneaky:. I highly doubt your nephew is referring to that! He probs wants some junky food, etc.:wah:

Oh you best get some crap cereal in too, something a five year old would love. Ricicles seems popular here, not to be confused with snap crackle and pop, its useless due to the low sugar content.

My lids were ranch kids , we all spent our fair share of the summer weeding grandma's veggie garden and we butcher our home grown meat. so they ate well and as much as they wanted.

But turn them loose in wal mart with a ten dollar bill and see what they called 'real food' fit for growing kids,,,:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl
