A little about me, I am a 37 yr old female, currently in SoCal but planning on traveling the rest of my life, road trip starts in the next month :driving:

I have a beautiful 6 yr old dog, she is going to be my traveling companion.

I have retired from doing accounting and have vowed never to make a living spending other peoples millions again

I will enjoy many of your threads, so please stick with me while I find my way around and we get to know each other better!

Well, my first stop will be TX to establish an "address" and register both my vehicles there, get a driver's licence, etc. Then AL, I have family there and, unfortunately, a brother in prison there who is patiently waiting for me to visit. Then I want to see Idaho and Montana, I know there is a lot to see in between, but will be asking other campers about their experiences and such and just find my way to NorCal to see my other brother and a couple of friends up that way. That's all I have so far, but the "unplanned" I have a feeling, is going to be the best part...if you know what I mean?

I am currently in San Diego county, born and raised in Imperial County, both right on the border. I am heading east first, then I don't know...staying national though, not enough funds to travel abroad....yet!

Hi again, HG. Have to mention we're not all from America here and I for one am having a little difficulty translating your abbreviations which I believe are different states. I've managed most so far. I'm the stupid one here you see.

That is, I am leaving California, heading to Texas first, then on to Alabama.

NoCal is not a diet, it's northern California.
