I can't remember that night.:wah:

Last time I really had a drink was my birthday a few years ago.A whole bottle of port and Babycham with it......apart from making a right idiot of myself telling everyone I loved them:oI was sick in my Friends house and was ill for days after and ....................oh never again!!!!:rolleyes:

What is it about women? Whats a couple days of being sick for a great night of drinking?:D

There are to many nights of to much ,

The one nite that comes to mind first is the note a friend and I shared a 5th of everclear straight from the bottle no chaser. we got that ****bottle killed before the sun came up but it wasn't easy.

Oh my. Long ago and still in my teens. I think it was Peppermint Schnapps. Oh I was soooooooooo sick and had to go to church the next day! I swear I was one of the walking dead. Had to keep up apperances though so my folks didn't know. When I got home, I went to my room and told them I had a report I had to get done for school the next day. Needless to say, I laid on my bed and prayed for death. :yh_rotfl

YEARS ago, we were at a party for where my husband worked. We knew the bar closed at 9 so he was bringing me 2 drinks at a time. At 9, I had 14 drinks sitting in front of me. I drank all 14, plus all the ones I had up until 9, then had one at another bar on the way home. Hubby gets up the next morning, banging pots and pans. I told him he could stop it because. by some miracle, I felt fine. :yh_rotfl If I were to drink that much now, it'd take me a week to recover!

On the grounds that I may incriminate myself and bring shame and grief to my family and friends I shall refrain from answering.........................needless to say my doctor, on discovering the content and quantity of my expedition that fateful night asked me ...."Why aren't you dead?" Apparently humans are not supposed to be able to take in that quantity and live. I am an enigma in all sorts of ways

The look of serious shock on that doctors face is just a bit scary when what he said sinks in , huh ?

You're not just whistling dixie there SK..................I knew I'd done bad but didn't realise how bad. As to drinking these days it would probably kill me now . I have not drunk Port or straight Vodka since. And limit all drinking to four glasses or a six pack of beer over a good length of time.

I quit getting drunk over ten years ago and then cut down to about 4 to 6 drinks a year, by drinks I mean a beer or one serving of JD Black or Jose gold. by serving I mean a 1/2 pint ,

Yeah I think that's the way to go health wise. Tomorrow we're having a BBQ at the fire station something tells me we'll be drinking quite a few because so many have not had time to debrief . Me, i still have to drive so I be sober . I've had my nights already of "debriefing" :wah: I also went to see a councellor immediately after Black saturday ...........(my studies have taught me something:wah: )



but i've just found out the alchol comsumption in the town has sky rocketed lately. (no violence though which is unusual)

I'm 15 miles out of town so it is either stay completely sobor or bring it to the house befor you open it. There is an 'open container' law that will get you in just as depp as actully drinking while driving here. And to think 'back in the day' driving that 15 miles was a 'peice of cake' only two times stopped one time getting a free ride in the back of that nice mans car :-3 :-2 :-5

That would be in an evening:-5

I spent the night damaging the Dalton,never been so sick in my life

Thank goodness those days are far behind me & now I get to be the driver,the listener,the soother you name it:-5:-5

OH yes....I learned a lesson for sure that night

I had a bloody mary last weekend at a friends house...was actually pretty good, but thats because I requested and received a drink with lots lf Tabasco so there wasnt much of a bit to it from the vodka
