I have done a little database programming on my job with an old, antiquated programming language called "Clipper". However, I am wanting to expand my computer programming language and figured the best ones to learn are the web-based programming languages. So, for any of you experts on this board, could you give me some advice on which language I should learn, and which programming language is being sought after the most. Thanks in advance!

In my professional opinion, PHP has a larger demand. ASP is trailing, but not by much.

Python is comming into a play a lot more, and javascript is essential still.

Python is also an easier language to learn (first language i learned) and can give you some good habits, to other languages as well. in terms of Syntax flow, etc.
