OSCAR.com - 81st Annual Academy Awards - Nominees

The nominations have now been made public. As usual for me, I have not seen most of the films they nominated.

From this years list, I have only viewed Wall-E, which I thought was great, and Iron Man, which I really enjoyed.

Which movies have you seen and what do you think of the selections?

Clint Eastwood was left off this list for his preformance in Gran Tornio. I did see this one and enjoyed it alot. I'm surprised it did not make the list as he has stated this is his last film.

I only saw one movie last year, so I am clueless....:wah:

shocked to see Kung Fu Panda there....it sucked.

I haven't been to the movies or even rented a dvd for years.. I hardly watch films on tv either.

Comedies that aren't funny and seem to get a kick out of insulting or degrading others.

Thrillers about cutting people up or cutting limbs off just don't do it for me and as for car chases.. Please ... the cars jump and do impossible stunts without a dent but heaven forbid if they even have a slight crash they have to explode into a huge fireball.

I very much doubt that I will go to the movies ever again.!
