Baby P killer gets Playstation in jail - mirror.co.uk

Well Ive just been reading this, I know its a few days old but I had to put it on and ask the question - Is it just me or is the treatment described there more favourable than being free and on the dole????

Theres no way that a single man on the dole would be as well off in his scruffy bedsit, he wouldnt be fed and watered daily, and certainly wouldnt have £50 a week spare to spend on tobacco and snacks!!!!!

It just makes me sick that this is the way we treat criminals! How he is living there compared to the tot he watched being tortured Oh theres not even a comparison is there!

Owen was recently moved to Wandsworth from Brixton Prison after inmates slipped razor blades under the door of his cell, with notes reading:

"Do it yourself before we do it for you."

They'll get him

Your Spot on there.

Any day now, the mother, the boyfriend and the lodger will be sentenced.

One of the things that is sicking in this case is that all three blamed each other in police questioning. As it would be so difficult for a jury to decide which one actually dealt the final blow.. the jury would have to return a not guilty verdict on all three as there is 'reasonable doubt'. Half way through the trial, the judge ordered the jury to drop the murder charge on all three and reduce it to 'Allowing the death of a child.'

It means that all three were found guilty but under this charge, the maximum the judge can give, is 17 years. With good behaviour.. they will be out in 8 years.
