Let's hope they get it right this time then :-6

Mind you, a Christmas meal out followed by a Jellied Eel supper sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Thinking of you both for tomorrow, and wishing you all the best Chris - you'll be fine cos it's me birthday on the same day ! Thought I'd put this youtube link here for you to have a laugh at and cheer you up before tomorrow - don't look at it straight after you get home from the op. I don't want you bursting any stitches mate ! :yh_rotfl :-

Im furious so much so that even typing this post is winding me up even more.Chris was told to be at the Hospital at 7.30 am.....now this caused transport problems and we rung and asked if he could get there a little later.NO was the reply basically. So abit of expense was caused to get him there. Now 2 and a half hours later he is still waiting for a bed. There are 4 waiting he has just rung and told me and one there has had their op cancelled 5 times the last minute............OMG is all i can say and my other thoughts and words would get me banned Im afraid.

Neither can I, on the one hand they were fantastic with Mum's emergency op but the aftercare left a lot to be desired!

Good news that he has a bed.... finally

Good news that he has a bed.... finallyI feel so let down as feel its down to the fact my maother in laws cancer op was cancelled so many times that she died and have to ask if age comes into this prob and yet she had worked all her life and payed her dues. When it was pay back time.......well any other business you would take to court for fraud.

Yes Odie apart from anything else he hasnt eaten since yesterday and his a big man and was feeling so hungry.I know that sounds somewhat harsh when you think about so much hunger in the world today and ones that dont eat for days but his had this op once.....been suffering since for 18 months.....and then finally he gets to the hospital and has to wait hours for a bed feeling not well as his not allowed even to have a cup of tea.Im annoyedf yes but glad at least now he will be sorted.

I'd be more than annoyed......its always the waiting to begin with that stresses you out......poor Chris, he probably never knew if he was going to be sent home!

Is the hospital far from where you live? Can you go there and wait, might be easier that sitting at home?

Is the hospital far from where you live? Can you go there and wait, might be easier that sitting at home?I cant do anything now babe other than ring later to make sure all is well.My walking isnt that wonderful now.....meaning I cant walk that far without pain due to I was in bed for many months a few years ago due to a back problem and other problems and my muscles wasted away and it took me a year and alot of pain to be able to walk again. You wouldn't know this now as I walk fine but cant for to long and I couldnt manage the Hospital on my own as the parking is so far away from where he will be.He will be ok............oh gawd his just text me and his not happy.............they have put him in bed 13 fgs.

Is there an up date??? has the surgery been completed?? 13 is a lucky number not to worry. :D

18 month wait for a surgery repair in the State that's called Medical Malpractice. Why would they make him wait that long and suffering all the time? :-5:-5
