My Double Life

What do you see when you look at me?

A girl with a bright future or

A girl with the whole world on her shoulders?

When you look at me what do you see?

A girl with friends & family who loves hers or

A girl with a few friends & who leads a lonely life?

Well you're wrong no matter which answer you picked

I wish my life is that simple but the truth is it's not

Most of my friends think that I'm happy that I'm stress & carefree

That's cuz I chose to keep up a happy front

When underneath it on I'm the most stressed out girl in the world

Only a few of my closest friends would know about my double life

You see the heart of the matter is I'm living a double life

Most of my friends don't know about it because in telling them it would probably scare them away

I wouldn't want them to worry about me

I don't want them to think that all I want to talk about is me

I'm afraid of what their reaction is going to be if I do tell them what if they don't open up to me too

Then I would shut myself down and they would never get to know the real me

Which side of me do you see?

Which side of me would you prefer to see?

Or would you prefer to see both sides of me the good and the bad?

The person who have the power to see both sides of me

Should be my next potential best friend and/or boyfriend right?

The question is: where and when is that person going to show up?

We all have two sides to us and its true..... life is a stage and we do have to act at times because of many reasons.The only person we can never kid is that face in the mirror....that person looking back at us knows the real person that has so many faces.
