Very interesting new tactic ? Newspaper 'The Sun' quoted headline :-

Fury over doll's Islam message

Whatever happened to baby talk then?

I personally am totally against this sort of 'brainwashing' regardless of the subject matter.

If you want to hear the doll you will have to go to your Yahoo home page and click on the appropriate video.

I think mothers have to much time on their hands!:wah:

Fisher- Price would not do that.

Wow Gill.....

I can't believe Fisher Price would make a doll like that:confused:. I would see nothing wrong with this doll if it was made specifically for Islamic families, but not for all children. I find this very odd indeed.

I did hear "Islam is the Light."

I think that Fisher Price would have been smart to replace the message in the doll since it caused controversary. It really sounds like "Islam is the Light" to me. Now, probably parents won't be buying the doll.

could be me, I never heard it, and for Fisher Price?

The leading manufacturer for toys, I just cannot imagine them doing this, unless.........no quality control and some idiot thought it was a joke?:-5

It is odd Odie...listen to the message again. I wouldn't want my child to have a doll with any messages in it...except for the usual baby talk.

There are suggestions that possibly an employee tampered with the recording. So how many of these dolls are involved? Perhaps the UK ones have escaped, but it does seem that USA dolls have been withdrawn by the shops, but not Fisher Price !

I think it does sound like it's saying "Islam is the Light." If not then what is it saying? Certainly not "Mama." I'd like to hear it say "Satan is King" too like the story claims. Did you read the comments? That guy who claims it is just a case of Islamophobia? Please! If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, forget the PC banter!

Oh I expect it was probably a joke, but on the other hand..............................

In any case, the quality control was certainly found wanting ! Just shows how easy it seems to be to sabotage childrens' toys, if somebody wanted to do something really serious. A bit worrying ?

The only thing here is, why pick that particular thing to say and not something rude or naughty like 'Wipe my friggin bum' or 'kiss my esra !' or 'up yours mama'. ????

but 'Islam is light' seems strange, as if somebody is trying to stir it ! Thinking about that, I do not actually believe it is meant as a joke. But of course I could be wrong. It is after all, IMO.

While we were all asleep one Sunday night -- the government got up very early and slipped "Sharia" law into our great Country.

If we didn't spot that one coming, i'm in no doubt, Islamic Fundamentalists slipped this one in to undermine Western Civilisation. I can honestly see this as a direct infiltration of known Al-Queda suspects in Britain. I believe they had a motive to mass produce these dolls, flood the market with them to undermine the very foundation of our Great civilisation. Before Christmas was over, we'd have British children all over the country asking parents to re-babtise them in the name of Islam. This has to be the greatest threat we have known in modern times to UK security.

Or it could just be some nutter having a laugh at the factory.
