The dog, Max, a two year old Airedale terrier, jumped out of his owner's convertible when another car crashed into it. The dog ran into the woods and couldn't be found. His owner put out the word to everyone and also placed some of his clothes and Max's favorite food along the 45 mile route home, to encourage him to find his way.

A little over three weeks later, Max's owner found him sitting on the porch.

This happened in Providence, Rhode Island.

Oh that's weird OM! I just clicked and it took me to the dog video. The video is called "Dog makes 45 mile trek home."

Ahhhhh, that's a beautiful story Red...brought some tears to my eyes. It's amazing how animals have that 6th sense.

I found it finally way down on a different list to the one that opens up. My browser opened up to the Worldwide page. Presumably because I'm not in the US. Thus, I found it on the US page (as one might expect).



I had to smile at Max. He looked as though he wondered what all the fuss was about. A great story though.
