You know, mathematically, there are an infinity of dimensions. The simplest mathematical representation of this would be x raised to the nth power. Beyond x raised to the 3rd power, however, all that is achieved is an increase in the volume of the object. You can use the most complicated forms of mathematics but they all come down to nothing more than complicated, perhaps beautiful and awesome, 3-dimensional shapes. I could use the mathematical expression X x Y x Z x T x U x V and say the result is a 6-dimensional object. But it isn't, it is still 3-dimensional.

I have, over the years, redefined the concepts of the so-called three dimensions in my own mind. I.e. a line is a line is a line. Breadth is a line, depth is a line, height is a line. Gravity fools us. Turn the cube around and the height, depth and breadth swap places (from the perspective of the viewer on Earth).

The first dimension for me is a point. We require three separate figures to describe its position to another person.

The second dimension involves a length and a point of origin described as one of 360 x 360 points on an infinitisemally small perfect sphere.
