making new friends in london

£10 to go out and meet people !!!
That's not including the travel into central London and only one free drink, why didn't I think of this idea ???
It's difficult once you get to a certain age to meet new people and make friends I know, everyone has their groups and partners already and not may are willing to let new people come and infiltrate their group.
