The only beef I have about getting older is that I still feel the same inside as I did when I was in my twenties, but the flamin outer casing is getting like a tatty old suitcase ! However, having said that, I find that as you get older, you can 'get away' with more things, simply because there are a lot of people who just can't believe what you just did, or said, at your age !!!! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

No, only when I am not as physically fast/fit as the young ones. Puts me at a disadvantage in TKD, I use strategy instead in a match.

I'll let you know when it works, if I can remember it........................:wah:

Way to go, QS!

We all get older, such is life. But what do we really see in the mirror each morning? Well, without my glasses on, I have no complaints........:wah:

LOL... I don't care, just creating conversation ;)

You see I'm often mistaken for being younger than my years and I love correcting peeps and revealing my real age... gives me a much bigger buzz LOL

Age is just a number in my book. It's how you feel about yourself. You know, young at heart kind of deal.:)

Nope Age dont bother me. Most peeps age me 5 or 6 years younger than my 41 years, might be cos im a short a$$ at 5ft 2, have dimples and sound like minnie mouse on helium.:wah:

I have no grey hairs yet, all my own sparkly teeth and my skin is relatively good. Maybe once I start greying and wrinkling I will feel differently.

I think it helps immensely that my hubby tells me he loves me at least 3 times a day and shows me as much interest today as when we first met.:-4

Congratulations on your retirement Bez, well done, you made it!

I remember when you were 60 & contemplating it, now it's here! It does feel strange at first. However, after a little while, you'll wonder how did I ever get along working?! I took early retirement 3-1/2 years ago, (and I can honestly say now, that I would not want to have to work at a job ever again) and one of the things I wanted to do was join a gym. Well, I finally got round to it just last month!!! So many planned & unplanned things & projects popped up that took presidence. I could never get to do these projects while I was still working.

So anyway, enjoy that new camera, & hobby! :)

Major advantage to getting older...we're allowed to say what we want and people just roll their eyes.

Major disadvantage- trying to read small print and getting up from the floor...that gets harder each year!

I have won many a wager playing the "I bet I am older than you game"

I am blessed with young genes and great immaturity and by the time I hit 60 I am sure I will forget all this. yay for the aging mind :wah:

Pee stains and smells, disinfectant smells, colostomy bag and bed sores. The over-concerned looks in the faces of visitors. Short term memory loss but an amazing long term memory. Talking with invisible people. Hospitals and/or homes. The future is full of prospect.
