Men sometimes buy flowers to show how sorry they are. Or chocolates. I know it's not about the material, and it's the words of "I'm sorry" and meaning it that matter, but it does make you feel good when that extra effort is made. It's symbolic, and it makes you feel validated.

So my question is, what does a woman buy for a man when she feel she wants to show how sorry she is?

I know I don't have to buy something, but I want to. I know that "sorry" is enough, and have every confidence that I will be forgiven. I just want him to have some extra enjoyment, to make up somewhat for the time in between the error and the apology, where he may have been unhappy. For him.

Yeah, I did think it was a bit selfish, a present for me too.

He's not really into a particular band or anything...but I like your thinking. Something that doesn't involve me!

My latest idea is a magazine subscription. Then I can still do the other stuff, but he gets something just for him.
