Thursday Sept. 18th, 08
Price is Right with Drew Carey - did any one watch today's show?
A very young Marine was called as a contestant
he walks down to contestant row with 2 canes
Drew bends down & shakes his hand & Thanks him for his service.The young Marine wins his way to the stage
walking up the steps with 2 canes - I cried at every step
The young Marine had a chance to win a car - but didn't - 1 number off from actual Price.
I cried - this was so emotional for me. crying at a game show, I couldn't stop crying watching this young man. I so wanted him to win
If Drew Carey had said - you know what - we're going to give you the car anyway
I'd Vote DREW CAREY for PRESIDENT.. How about you??

I didnt see it but I do love Drew.
The show may have given the Marine something for his trouble, just behind the scenes. Could call it a writeoff and would help their reputation.

Drew Carey was a Marine himself. I'm sure everyone would have cheered if he had given the hero the car, but you understand how not doing so showed even more respect, don't you?

Oh, yes... I completely understand. either win the prize
it won't be given on a Pitty factor...
I cried on the fact this young Marine was so so wounded
but yet he so so proud
hell I'm crying now
it was just difficult for me to watch
since my husband came home in a flag drapped coffin.
And still the thought - DREW CAREY for PRESIDENT is better than the choice we're left with...
