I have it but dont understand it, I get mail telling me someone I dont even know has sent me a picture, they have written on my wall, they have sent me a flower,

I dont know what a wall is and I can't be arsed finding out.

I only opened the account to see what everyone was raving about, I am still none the wiser.

I suppose I should just close the account but I really can't be bothered it's just easier to ignore and delete the mail.

Never had interest in Facebook and live quite happily without it.Had some bad press also lately....but there again everyone to their own;)

I am there, it has been great catching up with old school friends, have also found some family that I lost touch with when my parents divorced

I'm glad i found this thread. My sister talked me into reg on Facebook as it's easier to post an announcement on your wall to your family than send 40 e mails. At first i loved the idea. Then i realised, too late, that losers who want to say "Did you know i have 250 friends" on facebook can steal your family. "Got a sad life? Got no friends?". Great, log onto Facebook & steal some-one elses. I have a neighbour that i can't get rid of & she logged on to my family. They didn't realise she was the local loser before accepting her as a "Friend". Now she knows all my business in my family. It's our fault for accepting her but didn't realise quite how intrusive this thing is. We can now dis-able her as a contact but then she will know we have blocked her & offend her. She announced one day that she was coming round my house & i fibbed & said i was going out. At around 10 p.m. i answered a comment on my wall to my sister in the privacy of my own home & a message came through from this woman saying "Thought you were out". Now call me old fashioned but i find that really scarey

What about all these applications?? I don't have enough hours in the day to do these but the local loser sends me hugs, gems, plants, puppys, drinks etc. If some-one sends you a drink, you click on "F--kin neck it". I think that's disgusting with young children using Facebbook.

There's an app on FB called pathwords. Warning, it is addictive & it tells all your "friends" when your playing to challenge them. Then the local loser rings my phone. Too scarey.

I'd just like to say somewhere or anywhere that Richard Ashcroft is a genious. Any brits out there, go buy "Forth" the new album by the "Verve". I know this thread is not about him but no-one else says it anywhere. "Forth" is the best album i've heard in twenty yrs. Now back to FB

scrabble, bowling, pet society...list is endless...not enough hours in the day.

If you invite peeps you get extra points on some apps so thats why peeps invite you to everything, I just hit ignore all if their is over a 100 as I cant be bothered sifting through them and by then your friend has their muula:D

Without boring you, i know some-one very famous in this country who knows many other famous peeps. The local loser has added a link on her profile for an appreciation society for my friend coz she met him once. It's embarressing. She even took a pic of him & put it on her profile. She's got a pic of me with Jerry Springer as well. I think it's very intrusive. I just wouldn't have the nerve to take some-one else's pic's to say "Hey i know this person, arn't i great, arn't i interesting??"
