Time for some fluff!

I get most of my news online but I do enjoy a Sunday paper now and then. I read in order, the front page, the comics, the Life section and the Arts section. Sometimes the crossword gets done. That's it. Oh and I clip the coupons!

How do you handle your newspaper?

Daily and Sunday newspapers and I read them front to back.

I read it through, once its been read by all I then do the crossword and also cut out any coupons of interest:-6

Haven't bought a newspaper for over 20 years, at the time there was just too much really gruesome stuff around and it upset me how the papers just seemed to enjoy prying into victims lives ect.

Same with TV news I skim passed the headlines and only watch further if something catches my attention. Although I do admit I 'skim' BBC CNN RTL (NL) RTL(D) Belgium and sometimes the French not to mention local Friesian news..not all at once! thoughout the day.

I hate the feel of Newspaper, never have liked it. I will read the front page and the sport section that's it and take the coupons out of the Sunday paper.

we used to like reading the sunday paper together before we had kids.

we rarely buy a paper anymore. I tend to avoid news in general. If it's a big enough story, I'll hear about it at some point anyway.

read the Sunday paper only, but do watch the news a couple of times a day.

I read mine every week, front to back, and absolutely HATE it if someone tries to read it first, cause I hate for it to get crinkly and out of order

Read the front back to back, go to the Opinions section (Philadelphia Inquirer), coupons, never read the metro section as it's all about who got killed this week.

Here's a helpful hint about newspapers. When cleaning windows, use newspaper instead of paper towels. Streaks less and if you already have them around you don't waste all of your money on the paper towels.

I read the Toronto Star in the lunchroom at work, even though it's written at about a Grade 7 level of comprehension, and I get the weekly local freebie in my mailbox.

The freebie is usually full of stuff like community events and other non-news items, but they do carry Gwynne Dyer's syndicated international affairs column, and I find him to be very knowledgeable and astute.

Used to read the Globe & Mail all the time, but nowadays, I look at it on line.

The community newspapers are good and things going on right in your own backyard!
