I still like candy cigarettes. I bought a case of them for me and a guy at work. They were 15 cents a pack. The next time I went to buy them, they had raised them to 25 cents a pack. Tends to annoy you when the local store tries to screw you so I seldom buy them now. I still like poprocks and I love pixie sticks.

poprocks, thanks, I have corrected mine! The stores are raising prices on them, we noticed this awhile ago.

I remember walking home after school and stopping by the little grocery store that was on the way. This was in Chicago. I used to like to get turkish taffey and those long pretzel sticks. Those packs of gum with the cards inside the pack was also a favorite. I remember when they had Beatle cards in them. :wah:

They still sell them in our little neighborhood store. They're like 5 for 50 cents so still not too bad. I buy them every once in a while. I just can't bring myself to eat the wax like I did as a kid. :wah:

I had googled penny candy and tons came up!

I used to love the strawberry and banana candies you got for a penny or 2, but my favorite which were 3 for a penny are now politically incorrect so all I can say is we called the N... babies. Thy were little baby shaped candies made of licorice.
